ASTM A778: Welded and non-annealed stainless steel tubing.

ASTM A554: Stainless steel tubing used in welded construction. As they are intended for decorative purposes these are also called as "Ornamental Tubing". In essence, they are HF welded low cost tubing and definitely are not recommended for use in processing.

ASTM A358: Stainless steel tubing produced by EFW (electrical fusion welding). Each tube is tested by radiography (X-Ray Control) during production. In this type of welding both edges of the rolled sheet are heated by electrical resistance to the point of melting and welding process is completed using welding filler without applying any pressure.

ASTM A312: Seamed (welded) or seamless (drawn), annealed stainless steel tubing for general purpose use.

ASTM A249: Welded, annealed stainless steel tubing produced for use in exchanger production.

ASTM A270: Seamed (welded) or seamless (drawn), annealed stainless steel tubing for use in sanitary applications (food, cosmetic, special production medication).

ASTM A269: Seamed (welded) or seamless (drawn), annealed stainless steel tubing for general purpose use (typically used in instrumentation applications).

ASTM A213: Seamless (drawn), annealed stainless steel tubing for boiler, exchanger and super-heater production.

EN10296-5: Seamless (drawn), annealed stainless steel tubing for general purpose and pressure vessel use in European norm.

EN10219-2: Welded, cold drawn box profile production standard.

ASTM A790: Seamed and seamless ferritic/austenitic (duplex structure) stainless steel tubing standard.

ASTM A789: Seamed and seamless ferritic/austenitic (duplex structure) stainless steel tubing standard.

EN 10217-7: Welded stainless steel tubing for pressure vessel and general purpose uses.

EN 10357: Welded stainless steel tubing for use in food and chemical (cosmetics) industries.

DIN 11850: Welded stainless steel tubing for use in food and chemical (cosmetics) industries (German version).

EN 10296-2: Welded (with no method constraint) stainless steel tubing for general purpose uses. This type of tubing is generally produced by HF welding for lower cost of production.
